Make or design something that opens out, folds out or spreads out.

For this project i decided to focus on making something that spreads out.

I wanted to observe scented sprays to record the length of time it takes for the scent to be smelt at different points of the room, showing the spreading out.

I will also experiment with spraying different medias i.e Inks, Watercolours, Paint etc, on different materials and papers of different thickness to again observe the spreading out. 

I will then add perfumes and rooms sprays to the paper before or after the chosen medias are applied to see if they make any difference.

I am also interested to see whether different light, prevent or make the spray more visable as it is spreading out.
All this experimentation and observation will help me to understand how perfume works in the sense of it spreading out.
I will then make a piece that explores smell, the piece being the scents not the visual.
